Installing Dynamics 365 Report Authoring Extension

In this post we will install the Dynamics 365 Report Authoring Extension in SQL Server Data Tools 2015.

First, download: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=50375

This will download:

Select one of the options:

Click to Accept:

Click Next:

Click Next:

Click Install:

Click Finish:

Now when you create a new BIDS project in Visual Studio, you will see the option:

  1. Hi Carl,
    I am following the same but coming across with failure on “Environment Check”
    I have VS 2017 community and Power BI Report builder installed.
    Any advise ?
